Big drops yet another amazing video from Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, this time for "You Ain't No DJ", the track produced by Andre 3000. The production values are a little higher on this one, with the world at the mercy of a REAL DJ (no instant replay, no "fuckin mixtapes") and an appearance from Yelawolf. Check it out below.

Please bring back the Outkast Clothing. Back in high school I brought alot of the jackets, t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, and velour sweat suits and still wear them to this very today. If yall brought them back I'd sell my entire wordrobe and buy all new Outkst Clothes. They used to sell them at burlington coat factory and Lim's here in Norfolk, VA where i'm from. You alls clothes were quality and last a long time. The jeans had stash pockets, some of your clothes has bleach or colors on them.Read more

On August 27, 1996, ATLiens was released. If Southernplayalisitccadillacmuzik put Outkast on the map, then this album put them on a different planet. It still had that oh-so-solid Organized Noize production, but Big and Dre's otherworldly lyrical concepts were starting to stretch out, as was their almost-perfect attention to detail that eventually rose up fully formed on Aquemini. Its a perfect bridge between their beginning and their future, and damn its a sturdy one. If its been a minute, go back now and give it a re-listen. You won't be disappointed.

Outkast featured on myspace rewind

Myspace just posted their newest edition of "Rewind", a feature where they tell the stories behind the best albums of all time. This time they chose Stankonia (which will turn 10 years old this year) and put together an amazing article about the history of the album with interviews from Big Boi, Cee-Lo, Rico from Organized Noize, and more. It's crazy, and its definitely worth reading to learn a little more about one of the greatest records of all time.

First off, i've been a diehard Outkast fan from the bunjee-word to sir lucious....and i was just wondering about something that i always notice with their music- in particular with Big Boi. To me, it seems that their music is soooo far removed and superior to anything else out there that i always get a little queasy when they drop seemingly random curse words throughout their music...maybe it's just me but I just feel that artistically, intelectually and musically they have no peer. But they will curse and blemish what is otherwise perfect music.Read more
