Big drops yet another amazing video from Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, this time for "You Ain't No DJ", the track produced by Andre 3000. The production values are a little higher on this one, with the world at the mercy of a REAL DJ (no instant replay, no "fuckin mixtapes") and an appearance from Yelawolf. Check it out below.
On August 27, 1996, ATLiens was released. If Southernplayalisitccadillacmuzik put Outkast on the map, then this album put them on a different planet. It still had that oh-so-solid Organized Noize production, but Big and Dre's otherworldly lyrical concepts were starting to stretch out, as was their almost-perfect attention to detail that eventually rose up fully formed on Aquemini. Its a perfect bridge between their beginning and their future, and damn its a sturdy one. If its been a minute, go back now and give it a re-listen. You won't be disappointed.
To celebrate the release of this classic, we at Outkast.com have come up with some of the best moments from the album. Enjoy and if you don't own it yet, buy ATLiens in the official Outkast store now.

Myspace just posted their newest edition of "Rewind", a feature where they tell the stories behind the best albums of all time. This time they chose Stankonia (which will turn 10 years old this year) and put together an amazing article about the history of the album with interviews from Big Boi, Cee-Lo, Rico from Organized Noize, and more. It's crazy, and its definitely worth reading to learn a little more about one of the greatest records of all time.
Dre opens this one up with one of the most vicious rhymes he's ever done. Years later, you can still find something new with each listen to this ever-shifting masterpiece.

July 18, 2010, Union Park, Chicago. The Pitchfork Music Festival. The sun had been beating down all day, and everything stunk. People were laid out in the grass, asleep next to piles of empty beer cups, wiped out after a whole weekend of beers, ironic eyewear, sun, and (mostly deserved) hype.
Across the park, Major Lazer paraded their (awesome) freak show all over the stage and all over each other in the blaring sun. Just as their hyperactive set closed, the sun dipped behind the trees, and instantly the vibe cooled down. Plumes of smoke popped into the air, beers were finished hastily, and as the sun went down, the hands went up, and Big Boi stormed the stage.
Backed by DJ Cutmaster Swiff, bass, guitar, and a horn section, Big ripped through an opening medley of all of his best Outkast verses. "ATLiens", "So Fresh So Clean", "B.O.B.", "Rosa Parks", "Ms. Jackson", "Skew it on The Bar-B" and more all blended into each other, making it clear the Big was not afraid to give the people what they wanted, clearing the way for his new stuff by blasting all of his greatest hits (and DAMN there were a lot of them) before breaking into all the best from Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty.Read more
Last night Big Boi continued to conquer the late night talk show scene with this performance of "Shutterbugg" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, featuring none other than The Roots. Check it out below.Read more
Big Boi smashed Leno's stage last night with a live version of "Shutterbugg" and it was ridiculous. You can tell by the performance and the musical arrangement that Big has had this in the works for a long time, and he was hungry to take the stage. Check out the performance below to get a good sense of what Big's upcoming shows (pitchfork anyone?) will look like.Read more
